Tabiat Pedestrian Bridge
Tehran, Iran 2010-2015
My scope of work: Project Coordinator, Design Team Member
My professional journey in architecture began with the iconic Tabiat Bridge in Tehran—a project that redefined how infrastructure can become a vibrant public space.
I joined the design team at Diba Tensile Architecture during a critical phase of the project. Spanning 270 meters over a busy highway, the bridge connects Taleghani Park and Abo-Atash Park, transforming a simple crossing into a multi-level destination where people gather, pause, and experience the city from new perspectives.
Working closely with architects and engineers, I contributed to shaping the bridge’s organic geometry and spatial experience. Later, as Project Coordinator, I managed collaboration across disciplines and international partners, including Maffeis Engineering.
Completed in 2014, the bridge became an award-winning landmark and a beloved urban space. For me, it was more than a project—it was the foundation of my design philosophy: architecture as a bridge between nature, people, and the city.

Tensile Architecture
As a Project Manager and designer in tensile architecture, I have had the privilege of guiding projects from the earliest conceptual sketches to their final installation, collaborating closely with architects, structural engineers, and contractors. My journey is rooted in both tradition and innovation: I earned my Master’s degree in tensile structures from Bauhaus University in Germany, where I honed a deep understanding of the delicate balance between form, material, and structural performance.
Tensile structures hold a special place in my heart, as they are deeply rooted in Iranian nomadic culture. These lightweight, adaptable, and climate-responsive forms have inspired my work, allowing me to reinterpret a traditional architectural language for the modern world. Translating these elegant, heritage-inspired forms into structures capable of withstanding real environmental forces has been both a challenge and a joy. Each project represents a fusion of cultural legacy, technical precision, and architectural expression—a story of the past informing the future.

Feasibility Studies & Market Development
Tehran/Iran/Jan2016-Dec202
My scope of work: Project Manager
I conducted feasibility studies for residential developments in northern Iran (Yaas & Aghaghia) and the Five-Gate Health Village, analyzing market conditions, environmental factors, demographics, and regulatory requirements to guide site selection, density, and sustainable programming. I collaborated with clients, architects, and engineers to define project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations while maintaining coordination across stakeholders. I reviewed early design proposals to improve spatial efficiency and land utilization, increasing apartment unit yield by up to 9% within the same footprint. I also prepared work breakdown structures, schedules, and budgets aligned with ESG goals, while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and monitoring project progress to ensure regulatory compliance and timely deliver.

Culturally Responsive Community Design
Vancouver/Canada/Dec2024-Feb2026
My scope of work: Project Coordinator, Designer
I was involved in Indigenous community empowerment projects in Mindful Architecture Ltd., including the XAXLI’P Green Hydrogen Facility, Turtle Regenerative Housing, and Snpink’tn IR2 Development. Working across development, feasibility, site master planning, and integrated community design, we applied the principles of environmental responsiveness—to create spaces that are not only functional but also regenerative, culturally resonant, and deeply human-centered.
From planning safe, pedestrian-friendly streets and community gathering spaces to integrating regenerative systems, permaculture-based planning, and food–water–energy systems, we aimed to honor Indigenous knowledge and support long-term community resilience.
